You will most likely find yourself recognizing this melody swiftly. The reason is there were two versions of ‘Claustrophobia’ and since I could not make up my mind as to which I liked better, I used both. If you can imagine ‘Claustrophobia’s’ weird looking, distant Cousin, that’s this tune.

It is much more haunting, includes much more noise and non-congruent tones running parallel. Lots more hardware instrumentation can be heard, as this rendition does not pull back in the manner the other does.

While the other hints at heading towards a personal hell, this one socks you straight in the middle. Not quite the eye of the storm, too safe. More so, you’re in the torrential down pour of this experience and seeing the calmness within the eye not so far off in the distance, but there’s no way you’re reaching it. You’re stuck staring at what a life outside Small World could be as you brave your way through the shit heap it is. Nothing is worse than being able to clearly make out just how much more green the grass is in that eye of the storm. That beautiful and vivid green which will never be yours. After all you’re stuck in that torrential down pour, remember?
